A Farm refers to a set of Cantara servers which provide integration services to a JDE installation. The Cantara Administration Console can be used to manage multiple farms. 

Prior to configuring a Farm in the Administration Console, the Cantara servers must already be deployed and running.

For instructions to deploy a new Cantara installation, refer to the Cantara Installation Guide.

The Cantara deployment type (cloud-based or on-premises) determines what farms are available in the console:

  • A cloud-based deployment has two farms: TEST and PRODUCTION. These will already be configured during the Cantara installation process.
  • An on-premises deployment allows the customer to add as many farms as they require, by using the console to configure network connections and other settings.
