The Cantara Access Server requires folder locations to store the application, configuration and service component definition files. The locations can be local to the application server or a remote folder that is mounted on the server.

Folder Permissions

The user account that the Java application server executes as must have read and write permissions to the folder locations.

WAR deployment not supported

The Cantara Access Server application .ZIP archive file must be extracted into the Java Application server for deployment. The application does not support being deployed as a WAR file.

You must define folders for the following:

  • Environment definition file
  • Cantara Access Server log files
  • Service component definition files (Standard Edition Only)

You can use a single folder or multiple folders to store these definition and log files.
